Designer occasion wear can measure completely different from your usual dress size so be prepared to go up, or down a size!

I would advise you to buy an outfit that fits the biggest part of your figure. These outfits are designed for a little alteration here and there and it is always easier to take in than to let out! If you are local to me I can put you in touch with an excellent seamstress too.
When measuring please use a flexible dressmaker’s tape;
Bust – Measure around the fullest part of the bust.
Waist – Measure around where you would usually wear pants or a skirt.
Hips – with legs slightly apart measure around the fullest part of your hips, this is usually about 8-10 inches below your waist.
